Privacy Policy

Information stored on your device

BusanTable may store the following information locally to personalize recipe recommendations, pantry guidance, shopping notes, and meal tracking.

• Kitchen profile settings, including cooking tools, pantry choices, grocery habits, dietary preferences, and language
• Tonight’s table settings, including the number of adults, teens, and children eating
• Fridge, freezer, pantry, and shopping stock records you create or confirm
• Receipt text, estimated prices, meal costs, and meal notes you save
• Meal photo references and the Busan Table album name when you save photos to Apple Photos
• Personal recipe notes, recipe-linked cooking notes, and optional handwritten drawings

Photos, receipts, and OCR

Camera and photo-library features run only when you choose to use them. In the current build, text recognition for receipts and fridge photos runs on-device using Apple system frameworks.

BusanTable does not send those photos or receipt images to a BusanTable server or an external AI service. Images saved to Apple Photos are managed by the Photos app and your device settings. Deleting local data in BusanTable does not remove images already saved to Apple Photos.

Permissions

You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.

• Camera: capture a fridge, receipt, or meal photo when you choose to do so
• Photos: choose an image or save meal photos to a Busan Table album
• Face ID or device passcode: help protect kitchen-profile and meal information when the app is reopened

Apple StoreKit and Full Access

BusanTable offers optional Full Access as a one-time, non-consumable in-app purchase—not a subscription. Apple processes the purchase through the App Store.

The app reads Apple’s signed entitlement status to determine whether Full Access is unlocked. BusanTable does not receive or store your payment-card number.

Information the app does not collect

If a future version adds accounts, advertising, analytics, cloud sync, subscriptions, or third-party SDKs, this policy and the App Store privacy information will be updated before release.

• Account credentials, because no login is required
• Precise location, contacts, or health records
• Payment-card numbers or advertising identifiers
• Usage events sent to a third-party analytics service

Support emails

If you email info@hedeonix.com, we receive your email address and anything you choose to include, such as screenshots, device details, or a description of the issue. Meal logs and photos are never attached automatically.

Support messages may be kept as needed to respond, maintain support records, and improve app quality. You may request deletion at the same address. Please do not send sensitive photos, medical information, or private family details unless they are necessary for the request.

Children and teens

BusanTable can provide cooking and nutrition context for meals that include children or teens, but it is not designed to collect their personal information through an account or server profile. In the current build, related settings remain on the device unless you choose to include them in a support email.

Nutrition and health information

BusanTable provides cooking guidance and general nutrition context, not medical advice. For allergies, medical conditions, supplements, pregnancy, child or teen nutrition, or special diets, consult a qualified clinician, registered dietitian, or other professional.

Sharing and sale of information

BusanTable does not sell personal information. The current build does not transmit app records to BusanTable servers, advertising networks, analytics providers, or external AI providers. Information is shared only when you choose to send it through email, a screenshot, or standard iOS sharing features.

Deleting local data

The in-app Privacy & Support screen can delete kitchen settings, pantry choices, fridge and freezer records, receipts, meal logs, personal recipe notes, and drawings stored by BusanTable. Photos already saved to Apple Photos must be managed separately in the Photos app.

Security

The current build uses size-bounded, backup-excluded Application Support files with iOS complete file protection and device authentication where appropriate. Recipe-notebook metadata and drawing assets are separated and subject to file and total-storage limits. No method can be guaranteed perfectly secure, but avoiding unnecessary server transmission reduces exposure.
